Coach Dillon Lovelace
 

Dillon played High School baseball at Liberty Christian in Denton, TX and was a member of the State Championship team.   He accepted a scholarship to New Mexico State with additional offers from Auburn, Nebraska, Texas Tech, and TCU.  He played college baseball at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM, where the Aggies won the Sun Belt Conference Championship, and reached consecutive NCAA Regional Tournaments.  After graduation, he coached Liberty Christian to consecutive TAPPS 5A State Tournaments.  Dillon is not new to select baseball having coached the Texas Blackhawk’s organization and NorTex Baseball; he lead NorTex Baseball to 2007 AABC Mickey Mantle 15U National Championship.

 

Coach Lance Phillips

Lance is in his 10th year as an instructor and coach at DBAT. Coach Phillips was an All City Catcher at Samuel High and attended Navarro Community College. He orginally coached the Dallas Baracudas that became the first DBAT Team in 1998. That initial team coached by Cade Griffis and Lance compiled a record or 55 - 10 in 1998.

 
Coach Brandon Kolb
 

Born in Oakland, Coach Kolb is a former right-handed relief pitcher in MLB who played for the San Diego Padres and Milwaukee Brewers.  He attended Danville High School in California and then Texas Tech University.  Standing at 6'1", 190 pounds, Kolb was originally drafted by the Oakland Athletics in 1993. Deciding not to sign, he would have to wait until 1995 to be drafted again, when he was selected by the Padres in the fourth round. This time, he chose to sign.  He made his major league debut on May 12, 2000 against the Arizona Diamondbacks.  He has 10 years experience as a pitching instructor and was previously the pitching coach for the 18U Dallas Mustangs.
