| Coach Lowry played at Paris High School in Paris, TX and helped his team win the Texas State 4A championship in 1989. He was then drafted by the Cincinnati Reds as an outfielder but chose to attend college. Coach Lowry finished his college career at McNeese State University in Louisiana winning numerous all conference, all regional and batting honors. He was then drafted in the 1995 amateur draft in the twelfth round by the San Diego Padres where he played professionally until 1999.
Coach Lowry joined the DBAT coaching staff as a head coach and instructor back in 2005. He came to DBAT following successful stints with the Dallas Tigers and Dallas Mustangs. As head coach of the Tigers he led his team to a Super Series national title and a 55-10 record. In 2006 he lead his current DBAT team to the AABC Mickey Mantle National Championship in McKinney, TX. Coach Lowry is also in his fifth season as head coach at Greenhill School in Addison TX. |
